Your Apify data never leaves your browser

The Apify export you load is parsed and stored only in your browser’s local storage. It is never sent to our servers, never uploaded, and never seen by us. Clearing your browser data removes it. This is the core of how Apify Founder Climb works.

1. Information We Collect

We keep collection minimal:

• Account information — if you create an account: your email address and a securely hashed password (handled by Neon Auth).
• Payment information — if you buy a plan, processed by Stripe. We receive a confirmation and your email, never your full card number.
• Usage data — aggregated, anonymous analytics via Umami (see Cookies below): page views, referrer, country, device type.

We do not collect the contents of your Apify export, which stays in your browser.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Provide and maintain the Service
• Process payments and manage access
• Improve the platform and understand aggregate usage
• Communicate with you about your account and service updates
• Ensure security and prevent fraud

3. Information Sharing & Processors

We do not sell or trade your personal information. We share it only with trusted providers that operate the Service:

• Neon — database & authentication (account email)
• Stripe — payment processing
• Vercel — application hosting
• Umami (self-hosted) — anonymous analytics

We may also disclose information if required by law, or in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.

4. Data Security

We use encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and secure third-party payment processing. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

5. Data Retention

We retain account and purchase records for as long as your account exists and as required for tax and accounting. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.

6. Cookies and Tracking

We use only a few strictly functional cookies needed to run the app (your sign-in session and display preferences such as share/blur mode). Our analytics (Umami) are cookieless and do not track you across sites. We use no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, so no cookie-consent banner is required.

7. International Data Transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

8. Children’s Privacy

The Service is not intended for anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe we have, please contact us.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time and will post the new version here with an updated “last updated” date.

10. GDPR Rights (EU/EEA Residents)

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, port and object to processing of your personal data, and to lodge a complaint.

We process data on these legal bases: performance of our contract with you, our legitimate interests (improving and securing the Service), your consent (where applicable), and legal obligations.

11. CCPA Rights (California Residents)

California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect, request its deletion, opt out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell personal data), and not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. To exercise them, contact hello@apifyintel.com.

12. Marketing Communications

We only send marketing emails to users who have explicitly opted in, and you can opt out at any time via the unsubscribe link or by contacting us. Even after opting out, we will still send transactional emails related to your account (service updates, security notices).
